What has been built on GeekOutFridays?
In six seasons since May 2020, GeekOutFridays shows have built autoblogs, news sites, AI-written books, videos, sales pages, and custom websites live on screen.
Seasons 1 and 2 (2020 to 2021): autoblogs and news sites
The first show, on May 22, 2020, covered SEO for autoblogging. In April 2021, the show built news sites live with Masher Sites.
Season 3 (2022): AI writers
Shows compared AI writing tools side by side and paired them with RSSMasher.
Season 4 (2023): ChatGPT arrives
Shows used ChatGPT with RSSMasher and AIMasher and added AI voiceovers.
Season 5 (2024 to 2025): books, GPTs, and video
BookMasher was first walked through in June 2024. Later shows covered NotebookLM, custom GPTs, a first VEO3 commercial, and no-code lead magnets.
Season 6 (2026): sales pages, sites, and NewsMasher
Shows built sales pages in three days, revealed BookMasher V2 in June, published books to Amazon KDP in July, and built custom websites. NewsMasher launched on September 11, and a later show built a working review reply checker live.
