Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

This page covers the GeekOutFridays Skill Vault and the GPT-to-Skill Converter add-on (together, "the Skills"). They are sold by Launch Ninjas, Inc., doing business as GeekOutFridays ("we," "us"). By buying or using the Skills, you agree to these terms. Our general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy still apply to the rest of GeekOutFridays.com. If they ever conflict with this page about the Skills, this page wins.

Part 1: Terms of Service

1. What you're buying

The Skills are a digital download of plain text files. Each file is a set of instructions that you install in an AI assistant you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT. You pay once. You get the files right after checkout, through your GeekOutFridays account.

2. Your license: what you can do

When you buy, we give you a commercial license to use the Skills. It is non-exclusive, and it can't be transferred to anyone else. It lets you:

• Install the Skills in your own AI accounts and use them as often as you like.
• Edit them, change the examples and add your own material.
• Use them to create your own products, content, ads, pages, emails, videos and client work, and sell what you make.
• Build your own tools and products with what the Skills teach and produce. You may run a skill privately to power your own work, as long as no one else can see, open or copy the skill's text.

The work the Skills produce for you is yours. We claim no ownership of it.

3. What you can't do

The license covers using the Skills. It doesn't cover passing them on. You may not resell, share or give away the skill files or their text, in whole or in part, for money or for free. That includes:

• Selling or giving the files away, alone or in a bundle, course, membership, template pack or giveaway.
• Posting them in a group, community, forum, shared drive, public code repository, prompt library or marketplace.
• Publishing a skill as a custom GPT, project, agent or bot that other people can use or copy.
• Sending a copy to a coworker, client, student or friend. Each person who uses the Skills needs their own purchase.
• Renaming or lightly rewriting a skill and offering it as your own.
• Sharing your GeekOutFridays login or download link.

You can deliver the results to your clients. You can't hand them the skill files.

4. Who owns the Skills

The Skills, their text and their names belong to Launch Ninjas, Inc. Your purchase gives you a license to use them. It isn't a sale of the copyright. Please leave the credit lines in the files in place.

5. Updates

We may add, improve, rename or retire skills over time. We aren't required to provide updates. The files you download are yours to keep and use under this license.

6. Claude, ChatGPT and other tools

You need your own account with an AI assistant to use the Skills, and those companies' terms, plans and limits apply to you. Claude is a product of Anthropic, and ChatGPT is a product of OpenAI. Neither company is affiliated with, sponsors or endorses the Skills. Those companies can change their features at any time, and we aren't responsible for how their tools behave.

7. AI output is your responsibility

The Skills include guardrails, but AI assistants can still make mistakes or produce content that is wrong, outdated or unsuitable. Review everything before you use it. You are responsible for what you publish, including claims, prices, testimonials, disclosures, ad platform rules and the laws that apply to your business. Nothing the Skills produce is legal, tax, financial or medical advice.

8. Named experts

Some skills are built from frameworks that named marketers teach publicly. Those people did not make, approve or endorse the Skills, and they are not affiliated with us.

9. No earnings promise

We don't promise that you'll make any money, get any particular result or reach any income level. Your results depend on your offer, your audience, your work and many things outside our control.

10. Refunds

Because the Skills are a digital download, any refund is at our discretion, and we don't give refunds more than thirty (30) days after your payment. To ask, email [email protected]. If we refund you, your license ends, and you agree to delete every copy of the Skills you have.

11. If these terms are broken

If you resell, share or give away the Skills, or break these terms another way, your license ends right away and we may remove your access. We may also take any other steps the law allows, including asking for the files to be taken down.

12. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The Skills are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Skills. Our total liability for any claim about the Skills is limited to the amount you paid for them. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Collin County, Texas. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to purchases made after the update.

Part 2: Privacy Policy

15. What we collect

• When you buy: your name, email address and billing details. Payments are processed by Kajabi Payments (powered by Stripe) or PayPal. We don't see or store your full card number.
• Your account: your GeekOutFridays login and which products and downloads you have.
• When you contact us: what you send us, so we can answer.
• When you visit: basic technical details such as your browser, device, IP address, the pages you view, where you came from (including links with tracking tags) and cookies.

16. What we don't collect

The Skills run inside your own Claude or ChatGPT account. We don't receive your chats, the material you paste in or the work the Skills produce. That data is handled by your AI provider under its own privacy policy.

17. How we use it

• To deliver your purchase, give you access to your files and send receipts.
• To answer support questions.
• To send product news and offers by email. You can unsubscribe any time using the link in any email.
• To measure which pages, ads and emails work, so we can improve them.
• To prevent fraud, protect our rights and follow the law.

18. The services we use

We use these companies to run the site and measure our marketing. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy.

• Kajabi: hosts the site, checkout, your account, downloads and our email.
• Stripe and PayPal: process payments.
• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: load our measurement tags and report how the site is used.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram): measures the results of our ads.
• RapidMetrics: connects ad and link visits to purchases so we can see which marketing works.
• TruConversion: shows us, in aggregate, how visitors scroll and click on our pages.

19. Sharing

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, so they can do their jobs for us; when the law requires it; to protect our rights or the safety of others; or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

20. How long we keep it

We keep purchase records for as long as we need them for your access, our accounting and tax rules. We keep email subscription details until you unsubscribe.

21. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
• Ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, and we will honor them as that law requires. We may keep records the law requires us to keep.

22. Children

The Skills are for adults running a business. If you are 13 or younger, please don't give us any personal information. If we learn that we have information from a child that age, we will delete it.

23. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system or internet connection is completely secure.

24. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
